This episode provides a comprehensive update on the second season of the Yellowstone spinoff series, Marshals, which is scheduled to premiere on October 4. The narrative follows Kayce Dutton, portrayed by Luke Grimes, as he transitions from ranch life to a career in federal law enforcement in Montana. Viewers can expect several recurring characters from the original franchise to appear, though the plot reveals that Monica Dutton has passed away prior to the show's timeline. The upcoming episodes will introduce new cast members and focus on a high-stakes hostage crisis involving Kayce’s son. Originally titled Y: Marshals, the production now airs on CBS before moving to the Paramount+ streaming platform.
