面對生命中的困境，我們是否也曾經問過：耶穌，祢為什麼不早一點來？祢為什麼不早一點出手？
門徒停留在對現況的評估，馬大停留在過去的經驗，馬利亞停留在悲傷的情感，拉撒路甚至已經停留在死亡的墳墓裡。
但耶穌來了，祂用光驅散門徒的恐懼，用信心帶領馬大超越過去的經驗，帶領馬利亞從絕望的眼淚中再次定睛於主，更在拉撒路生命的盡頭，顯明神的榮耀。有時候，我們以為一切已經太遲了，以為故事已經結束了，但在耶穌裡，死亡從來不是句點。

When facing life's hardships, have we ever asked: Jesus, why didn't You come sooner? Why didn't You act sooner?
The disciples lingered in their assessment of the current situation, Martha lingered in her past experiences, Mary lingered in her sorrow, and Lazarus was already resting in the tomb of death.
Yet Jesus came. He used His light to dispel the disciples' fear, used faith to lead Martha beyond her past experiences, guided Mary to fix her eyes on the Lord once again amid tears of despair, and manifested the glory of God at the very end of Lazarus's life. Sometimes, we think it is already too late, believing the story is over, but in Jesus, death is never a period.
