In this episode of Global Economic Press, Alex Brady discusses the recent achievements of Venly, a Belgian company specializing in stablecoin payment infrastructure. Venly has been named a winner in the France-Belgium semifinal of Mastercard For Fintechs 2026, alongside French artificial intelligence company Giskard AI. This recognition highlights Venly's innovative approach to integrating stablecoin accounts, conversions, and payouts through a single application programming interface, allowing fintechs and payment companies to leverage blockchain technology without the need to develop their own infrastructure. For more information about Venly, visit their website at Venly Finance.
The semifinal event, held at the Hôtel de l'Industrie in Paris, featured six fintechs presenting to a jury of experts from Mastercard and the European fintech ecosystem. Venly and Giskard AI were selected from over 240 applications across Europe, with 63 submissions from France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. As winners, they will advance to the European final in Milan on November 25, 2026, where they will compete against other local winners for a prize of 100,000 euros in marketing support and access to Mastercard's Start Path program. This achievement underscores the growing importance of stablecoins in real-world payments and Venly's role in facilitating global digital transactions.
