Giving the Gift of Music: How Music Gear for Kids Is Changing Lives One Instrument at a Time

🎸 Music can change a life—and Music Gear for Kids is making that happen one instrument at a time.

On this episode of Along the Rock, host Kierstyn Long sits down with Tory Willard and Billy Paul of Music Gear for Kids to discuss how their nonprofit is helping local children discover the joy of music by providing refurbished instruments at no cost.

Learn how the organization collects donated instruments, restores them, and gifts them to young musicians throughout the Sauk Valley area. The conversation also explores the lifelong impact music education can have on confidence, academics, creativity, and personal growth.

Whether you're a musician with an instrument collecting dust or someone looking to support a meaningful local cause, this episode shows how one donation can make a lasting difference.
