The ivy & gecko team has known Dave for a number of years and always found him to be a source of wisdom and dry humour. I enjoyed the breadth of this conversation. Dave expresses his conviction that we need to get the right people sitting in the right seats on the bus, before we drive away. He goes on to talk about the quality of governance shown by Australian mining boards and the current state of diversity within executive leadership teams. We discuss sovereign risk considerations for investors, not only in African jurisdictions but in Australia also. On a lighter note, we learn that Dave is an avid fiction reader and he offers an interesting choice of book for his most valuable non-fiction read. I hope you enjoy our chat with Dave Kelly.
