Beyond Thanksgiving: The Real Story of the Pilgrims’ Faith and Freedom

In this episode of Everyday Reformation, hosts Brandon Scroggins and Nick Carter, joined by special guests Colonel John Eidsmoe and Mary Huffman, take a fresh look at the Pilgrims' journey and enduring impact on American history. Beyond Thanksgiving myths, they delve into the Pilgrims' Reformation-rooted motivations, hardships, and unwavering convictions for true liberty and worship. They also contrast this foundation with modern reinterpretations, like the 1619 Project, challenging the narrative with facts and biblical insight. This episode brings historical clarity, drawing lessons from the Pilgrims' covenantal, faith-driven life for today's church and nation.
