voicenote to the GILPers | Dolly Parton, Dolly Pawton’s BBC Debut & a Big Pair of Balls (feat. LIVE CALLER Trish)

It’s been quite the week at GILP HQ, so my friend Trish joins me for a much-needed debrief.

We talk about Dolly Parton, what she meant to women beyond country music, and the slightly surreal experience of Dolly Pawton and me making our BBC Breakfast debut in matching pink cowboy hats.

Then, naturally, we move onto the other important cultural events of the week: Kacey Musgraves flying through the air on a gigantic pair of glitter balls, Jessica Simpson’s surprisingly raunchy early lyrics, cowboy romance novels and my current reading era.

Basically, come and sit in on the GILP group chat.
