Long before it became a luxury stay in the French Quarter, the land hosted a renowned theatre, an opulent ballroom, and later a convent, school, and orphanage. Now, with centuries of history and emotion carved into its walls, the property is said to host as many as 17 ghosts, making it one of America’s most haunted hotels.
