Bring Back Old-Time Church

Fan Mail

Church didn’t used to feel optional or ordinary. You could walk through the doors and sense something holy, something set apart, and you left believing God still heals, still saves, and still answers prayer. I’m Regina Swarin, and this bonus message is my personal “why” behind “Let’s Have Church,” a memorial on behalf of my sister that stays centered on lifting up Jesus and calling people back to the faith that changed lives.

I reflect on the “Mother Jackson era” and what old-time holiness church looked like for me: prayer lines where every person was covered, services where people got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, and a kind of worship that didn’t feel like a show. I also talk plainly about the moment we’re living in now, when people tell me they’ve stopped going because the church feels like everybody else. Many are searching online for a place to believe again, and I’m praying these services meet them with hope, conviction, and a message that resonates.

You’ll also hear my gratitude for the radio stations and online supporters helping spread the word, plus why I chose speakers I trust to bring the word with power: Elder Leonard Davis and his team, and Pastor Tammie Watson and her team. If you’ve been missing real church, real prayer, and real spiritual renewal, come listen, share this with someone who needs hope, and subscribe so you don’t miss what’s coming next.
