On today’s show we learn about the Golden Camellia, a critically endangered flowering evergreen native to southeast Asia, on the China Vietnam border, to the provinces of Guangxi in China and Cao Bang in Vietnam. Its scientific name is Camellia impressinervis and it was first described in 1979.
