65: Our Friends’ Best of 2025

Punk This Week is see/saw’s free weekly podcast from co-hosts Evan Minsker and Nina Corcoran—a discussion of the latest and greatest in the world of punk rock. Usually, we talk about six new punk records we’re loving from the past week.

This time, we welcome friends of the podcast to share their favorite punk things of 2025. We hear from Tyler Fassnacht (Baby Tyler), Martin Douglas (Trick Bag), Jim Fair (Positive Thinking), Jael Holzman (Ekko Astral), David Anthony (Former Clarity/Ritual Cross), Shauna Boyle (Leatherman/Cable Ties/Lothario), Lucy Isadora (Big Clown/Hammer and the Tools), Zach Mitchell (Big Clown/Machine Duplication Recordings), Sydney Salk (Van Goth/Compilation Nation), Drew Ailes (Citric Dummies), and Waylon Thornton.

Discussed: The all Roy cut of Kermit’s Swamp Years, Cruelster, Science Man, Shouting Out Loud, Fugitive Bubble, Skull Fest in Pittsburgh, PUP, Lambrini Girls, AXON, Gonerfest in Memphis, R.M.F.C., Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Big Clown and the Memphis all stars covering “Memphis Creep” in front of Eric Oblivian, Wesley & the Boys, Nape Neck, Pig Kiss’d Emporium, Mississippi Records’ Arthur Russell comp, a mix of Ten Star tracks, and Yuasa-Exide.
