Week 6 starts in Denver.
Thursday Night Football brings Seahawks at Broncos. Both teams enter 3-2, but they're coming off very different Sundays. Denver rallied for a 23-17 road win over the Chargers, while Seattle suffered a frustrating 32-29 loss to the undefeated 49ers, turning the ball over four times.
The defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks are looking to bounce back behind Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year. But Darnold has thrown five interceptions over his last three games, and Denver's defense will be looking to take advantage. On the other side, Bo Nix and Sean Payton are trying to find consistency offensively against a Seattle defense that has yet to allow 200 passing yards in a game this season.
Now the Seahawks head into Mile High on a short week, where Denver will break out its throwback uniforms for a primetime showdown. The Broncos have a chance to move to 4-2 and make a statement against the defending champs, while Seattle is trying to avoid back-to-back losses with Kansas City waiting next week.
