This episode outlines the tragic 2017 murders of teenagers Abby Williams and Libby German in the small town of Delphi, Indiana. The victims are hailed as heroes for recording their killer on a cell phone, providing a crucial video of a man known as "Bridge Guy" ordering them into the woods. After years of investigation, local resident Richard Allen was arrested in 2022 after a misplaced tip linked him to the crime scene and ballistics tied his firearm to a bullet found near the bodies. Despite his defense team’s claims of mental instability and alternative theories involving pagan cults, Allen was convicted in 2024 following dozens of prison confessions. He is currently serving a 130-year sentence while his family and lawyers continue to pursue an appeal.
