On this episode of the East Meets West Hunt Podcast, Beau Martonik sits down with Dale Evans from Barnes Bullets during the Total Archery Challenge in Montana.
Dale shares his journey from growing up hunting whitetails in Florida, to serving as a JTAC in the Air Force, moving west to chase elk, and building a career in guiding, photography, and eventually working with Randy Newberg.
The conversation dives into rifle hunting strategies, bullet selection, Barnes’ new Harvest Collection, and memorable hunts — from an Iowa buck to a DIY Alaska moose, and even an unexpected dall sheep hunt he won.
If you’re a whitetail hunter, western hunter, or just a fan of great hunting stories, this episode is loaded with valuable takeaways.
