On today’s episode I speak with Em Gentle from The Grad Guide. Em and I joke that we’re the same person as we so often share the same views, values, beliefs and frustrations as one another. This conversation came about through our shared frustration in the way that the media has currently been sensationalising classroom behaviour with headlines targeted at placing blame on whoever they can (teachers, children, parents.. nobody is immune) as well as the hype they’ve created around what’s being called a behaviour curriculum, referring to it as old school discipline.
