Ar: في قلب عمان، كان المقهى مزدحماً برائحة القهوة وأصوات العواصف الرملية في الخارج.
En: In the heart of Amman, the café was filled with the aroma of coffee and the sound of the sandstorm outside.
Ar: المكان دافئ وصغير، ومثالي لجلسة عمل أو حديث مع صديق.
En: The place was warm and small, perfect for a work session or a chat with a friend.
Ar: لكن اليوم كان مختلفاً.
En: But today was different.
Ar: كان زيد يجلس في زاوية المقهى، عبثًا يحاول التركيز على قصته الصحفية عن أسرار الصحراء.
En: Zayd was sitting in a corner of the café, struggling in vain to focus on his journalistic story about the secrets of the desert.
Ar: نظر من النافذة، رأى العاصفة تقترب والموجات الرملية تدغدغ الزجاج.
En: He looked out the window and saw the storm approaching, the waves of sand lightly brushing the glass.
Ar: فجأة، دخلت ليلى المقهى.
En: Suddenly, Layla entered the café.
Ar: لم يرها منذ سنوات.
En: He hadn't seen her in years.
Ar: قلبه ينبض بشدة، كانت تلك اللحظة مفاجأة لم يتوقعها.
En: His heart pounded strongly, it was a surprise he hadn't expected.
Ar: ليلى كانت تُحاول التخلص من الرمال على ملابسها وتبدو مندهشة كذلك.
En: Layla was trying to brush the sand off her clothes and looked equally astonished.
Ar: "زيد؟" قالت بلهجة غير مصدقة، مُحاولة الابتسام تحت الشمس المحجوبة بالسحب الرملية.
En: "Zayd?" she said incredulously, attempting to smile beneath the sun partially obscured by sandy clouds.
Ar: "ليلى! ماذا تفعلين هنا؟" سأل وهو يحاول إخفاء ارتباكه.
En: "Layla! What are you doing here?" he asked, trying to hide his embarrassment.
Ar: جلست أمامه، تطلعت إلى كوب القهوة الدافئ.
En: She sat in front of him, glancing at the warm cup of coffee.
Ar: "عدت إلى عمان. العمل، كما تعرف.
En: "I’m back in Amman. Work, as you know.
Ar: وكذلك... أشياء أخرى."
En: And also... other things."
Ar: احتدمت العاصفة في الخارج، أخذت الرياح تزداد عنفًا، لكن داخل المقهى كان الجو ساكناً والأنظار بينهما فقط.
En: The storm raged outside, the winds growing more violent, but inside the café, it was calm, and their gaze was only on each other.
Ar: قرر زيد الصراحة، شعر أنه الوقت المناسب لتوضيح ما حدث في الماضي.
En: Zayd decided to be honest, feeling it was the right time to clarify what had happened in the past.
Ar: "ليلى، أنا آسف على كل شيء حدث بيننا.
En: "Layla, I'm sorry for everything that happened between us.

Ar: كانت العاصفة تزأر، لكن حديثهم كان دافئاً.
