God Hasn’t Forgotten You—Trust His Timing | Valiant Monday — The Valiant Forge

Have you been waiting so long that you’ve started wondering whether God forgot about you?

God isn’t late simply because He hasn’t revealed His timing. But waiting faithfully doesn’t mean sitting still—and not every delay means you’re supposed to keep waiting.

In this Valiant Monday, Mark Osborne examines the difference between waiting, preparing, and moving. Sometimes we try to force open a door God hasn’t opened. Other times, God has already opened the door, but fear keeps us from walking through it.

Your responsibility isn’t to control God’s timing. Your responsibility is to remain faithful, prepare for what He may be doing, and move when He makes the next step clear.

Have you been praying for direction but still don’t see any doors opening? After enough time passes, it’s natural to wonder whether you missed God—or whether He forgot about you.

He hasn’t.

In this episode:

Why God’s timing can look like a delay from our perspective
What Habakkuk 2:3 teaches us about the appointed time
How Mark’s own podcast began with one uncertain step
Why waiting should include prayer, Scripture, service, and preparation
The danger of forcing an opportunity because you want it badly
How fear can disguise itself as discernment
The difference between waiting on God and refusing to move

Scripture:

Habakkuk 2:3
Revelation 3:8

Ask yourself:

Am I trying to force something because I’m tired of waiting?
Am I using waiting as an excuse because I’m afraid to move?
Will I trust God while I wait, prepare for what He has for me, and move when the time comes?

Beginning September 1, Mark will be sharing 30 Days Through James, a series of short devotionals available exclusively on The Valiant Forge YouTube channel.
