Ed Brady is the President and CEO of Home Builders Institute (HBI). Prior to this appointment in 2018, Brady led a large regional home building company in Illinois. Following the 2008 financial crisis, he served on the Bipartisan Policy Center Housing Commission, working with other leading experts to advance the nation’s housing policy. HBI’s “Buildstrong Academies" are located in Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, Phoenix, Sacramento, Charlotte, and Puerto Rico. This gives Brady a unique view into the challenges facing home builders in a stalled real estate market that is also shifting to respond to new federal and state policies
