Tailscale’s browser-based SSH tool simplifies remote access to Raspberry Pis, home servers, NAS devices, and other always-on computers. Instead of remembering IP addresses, managing SSH keys, or configuring port forwarding, users can open the Tailscale admin console, select a device, authenticate, and start an encrypted SSH session. The feature also uses ephemeral authentication infrastructure for browser sessions, while Tailscale SSH provides granular access controls for larger teams.
