A teenager destroys her aunt’s $20,000 coat for a prank, and her mother says the aunt’s wealthy husband can replace it. That is only the first family member who thinks somebody else’s money, labor, or patience belongs to them.
This week, the Classmates are grading The Family Tax:
• A niece films herself ruining a $20,000 coat, then the adults argue over who should pay.
• A mother makes the women audition their Christmas desserts, and the rejected wives begin dropping out.
• A new father spends his baby’s college money on a 1972 Bronco, gets bailed out, and tells another lie.
• A stepdaughter says, “You’re not my real dad,” then asks her stepdad to buy plane tickets.
