The Phillies, Jhoan Duran suffer crushing Game 1 NL Wild Card loss

The Phillies suffered a crushing loss in Game 1 of the NL Wild Card Series, but the sting is a familiar one.

Phillies closer Jhoan Duran entered the game in the seventh inning in part because they have  few trustworthy options. He pitched a clean seventh, then allowed a three-run homer with two outs in the eighth inning to Austin Riley. It was the third consecutive postseason the Phillies blew a late-inning lead in Game 1 and lost.

Did the Phillies handle Duran the right way? What does it say about how the bullpen was built? We show some love for big games from Jesús Luzardo, J.T. Realmuto and Alec Bohm.
