The Elves and the Shoemaker - Fairy Tales for Older Kids

A poor shoemaker and his wife have only enough money left to purchase one final piece of beautiful leather. But when they wake the next morning, they discover that someone has transformed it into an exquisite pair of boots.

Night after night, mysterious elves create magnificent shoes, bringing the couple wealth and success. Yet as customers gather and money pours in, the shoemaker’s gratitude slowly becomes impatience and greed.

This atmospheric audiobook retelling of The Elves and the Shoemaker combines fairy-tale magic with a thoughtful moral about generosity, humility and respect for the work of others. Ideal for listeners aged 7–12, it is a compelling choice for bedtime, quiet time, family listening or classroom discussion.
