Gonna Fly Now - featuring Lee Allen

This week on PodcastNV, the crew welcomes multi-talented DMV musician Lee Allen — known for his "Sunday Under the Covers" and his visionary project: the Collaboration Laboratory.

🎤 Lee opens up about:

🎶 The roots of the Collaboration Lab, a creative hub where local artists come together to jam, experiment, and innovate.

🧠 His songwriting philosophy and how a single beat can spark a whole track.

🎙️ Why creating without rules leads to authentic music.

🛠️ Mixing melody, improv, and loop magic — live and unscripted.

🧢 DMV artist culture, gig struggles, and how to foster real collabs in a digital-first world.

Meanwhile, the PodcastNV crew keeps the laughs coming with:

🥓 Listener feedback on breakfast-themed photo shoots (yep, bacon is involved),

🎭 A ridiculous round of green screen background suggestions (Nancy Grace, ball pits, and Chuck E. Cheese, anyone?),

🎤 Plus: how songwriting doesn’t need to be fast to be meaningful.

👀 Whether you're an artist, music lover, or someone who’s just here for the laughs, this episode hits all the right notes.
