Jared Curtis Is the KEY to Vanderbilt Upsetting Ole Miss on Saturday

Vanderbilt football has a major opportunity against Ole Miss — but the Commodores have to find their identity. The biggest question is whether Vanderbilt finally unleashes five-star freshman Jared Curtis and evolves the offense around his strengths.

Vandy also needs to play aggressive defensively, especially against Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss. The Commodores’ path to an upset starts with pressure, disciplined coverage and eliminating the mistakes that have plagued them.

Meanwhile, Ole Miss enters the matchup looking to fix its tackling problems after Florida ran all over the Rebels. With questionable weather potentially putting an even greater emphasis on the running game, this SEC matchup could get very interesting.

Can Vanderbilt shock Ole Miss in Nashville?
