Is God truly omniscient, or does the Bible present a different picture? In this episode of Nephilim Death Squad, David Lee Corbo (The Raven), TopLobsta, and Ed Mabrie (Faith By Reason) continue a thought-provoking discussion about God's foreknowledge, free will, prophecy, and what Scripture actually teaches.
The conversation examines challenging biblical passages involving Job, Abraham, Satan (ha-satan), Isaiah 45:7, Revelation, and the nature of God's knowledge. Does free will require that future human choices remain genuinely open? How should Christians understand omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence? Are these biblical concepts, or later theological formulations?
Ed Mabrie walks through numerous scriptural examples while explaining why he believes the Bible teaches that God possesses all knowledge that exists while allowing genuine human freedom. The discussion also explores prophecy, the role of the adversary in the Book of Job, the seven churches of Revelation, and why Christians should test every teaching against Scripture rather than blindly accepting tradition.
Whether you agree or disagree, this episode is designed to encourage careful Bible study, thoughtful discussion, and deeper examination of difficult theological questions.
