Story Transcript:

Sk: Marek už od detstva miloval botaniku.
En: Marek had loved botany since childhood.

Sk: Raz, keď sa nadýchal čerstvého vzduchu v Botanickej záhrade v Bratislave, zdalo sa, že všetko je možné.
En: Once, as he breathed in the fresh air in the Botanická záhrada in Bratislava, it seemed like anything was possible.

Sk: Jeseň ožila farbami oranžových a zlatých listov, ktoré padali z korún stromov.
En: Autumn was alive with the colors of orange and golden leaves falling from the crowns of trees.

Sk: Avšak tentokrát to nebolo len o listoch.
En: However, this time it wasn't just about the leaves.

Sk: V ten deň sa Marek pripravoval na zvláštnu úlohu.
En: On that day, Marek was preparing for a special task.

Sk: Mala sa konať výstava vzácnych motýľov, a on mal byť jej súčasťou.
En: A rare butterfly exhibition was to take place, and he was to be a part of it.

Sk: Keď vstúpil do sklenenej budovy vystavujúcej nádherné kvety, videl Anetu, svoju náročnú a dôkladnú spolupracovníčku.
En: When he entered the glass building showcasing beautiful flowers, he saw Aneta, his demanding and meticulous coworker.

Sk: Aneta bola skutočným odborníkom na motýle.
En: Aneta was a genuine expert on butterflies.

Sk: Poznala ich zvyky, farby a dokonca aj jednotlivé mená.
En: She knew their habits, colors, and even their individual names.

Sk: Marek sa cítil menej skúsený, ale bol odhodlaný urobiť všetko správne.
En: Marek felt less experienced but was determined to do everything right.

Sk: "Bude to skvelá výstava," povedala Aneta s úsmevom.
En: "It will be a great exhibition," said Aneta with a smile.

Sk: Marek sa snažil čerpať energiu z jej nadšenia.
En: Marek tried to draw energy from her enthusiasm.

Sk: No nešťastnou náhodou sa potkol o hadicu a dvere skleníka zostali otvorené.
En: But by an unfortunate accident, he tripped over a hose and the greenhouse door remained open.

Sk: Zrazu sa motýle rozleteli do všetkých strán.
En: Suddenly, the butterflies flew in all directions.

Sk: Marek zdesene sledoval, ako vzácni obyvatelia výstavy opúšťajú priestor.
En: Marek watched in horror as the rare inhabitants of the exhibition left the space.

Sk: Musel konať rýchlo.
En: He had to act quickly.

Sk: Rozhodol sa požiadať o pomoc Anetu a Jozefa, dôchodcovského strážnika so srdcom na správnom mieste.
En: He decided to ask for help from Aneta and Jozef, the retired guard with his heart in the right place.

Sk: Jozef bol síce prísny, ale mal rád Marekovu zapálenosť pre prácu.
En: Jozef was strict but liked Marek's passion for the work.

Sk: "Mali by sme ich nájsť skôr, než sa o tom niekto dozvie," navrhla Aneta.
En: "We should find them before anyone finds out," suggested Aneta.

Sk: Jozef prikývol a začal udávať inštrukcie, ako uzavrieť niektoré časti záhrady.
En: Jozef nodded and began to give instructions on how to close off certain parts of the garden.

Sk: Spoločne formulovali plán.
En: Together, they formulated a plan.

Sk: Aneta vedela, kde by sa motýle mohli skrývať.
En: Aneta knew where the butterflies might be hiding.

Sk: Rozdelili si úlohy.
En: They divided the tasks.

Sk: Marek a Aneta šli späť do skleníka, zatiaľ čo Jozef obratne odklonil pozornosť návštevníkov.
En: Marek and Aneta went back into the greenhouse while Jozef skillfully diverted the attention of the visitors.

Sk: Motýle sa chytili do siete, ktorú Marek mal nachystanú.
En: The butterflies were caught in the net that Marek had prepared.

Sk: Konečne chytili posledné motýle.
En: Finally, they caught the last butterflies.

Sk: Bol to úspech.
En: It was a success.

Sk: Marekovi sa na tvári zjavil široký úsmev.
En: A wide smile appeared on Marek’s face.

Sk: Vďaka tímovej práci sa im podarilo všetko zvrátiť, bez toho, aby niekto dospel k škode.
En: Thanks to teamwork, they managed to reverse everything without anyone coming to harm.

Sk: Keď si obaja s Anetou podali ruky, na znak úspešnosti spolupráce, Jozef poklepal Marka po pleci.
En: When he and Aneta shook hands as a sign of successful cooperation, Jozef patted Marek on the shoulder.

Sk: "Odtiaľto budeš dávať väčší pozor, však?
En: "You’ll be more careful from now on, won't you?"

Sk: " žartoval Jozef.
En: joked Jozef.

Sk: Marek sa naučil niečo dôležité.
En: Marek learned something important.

Sk: Nielenže je žiaduce požiadať o pomoc, ale aj učenie sa od iných.
En: Not only is it desirable to ask for help, but also to learn from others.

Sk: V ten deň získal priateľstvo Anety a úctu Jozefa.
En: That day he gained Aneta's friendship and Jozef's respect.

Sk: V botanickej kráse jesenného dňa sa Marek naučil viac ako len o rastlinách a motýľoch.
En: In the botanical beauty of the autumn day, Marek learned more than just about plants and butterflies.

Sk: Našiel skutočné priateľstvo v záhrade plnej života.
En: He found true friendship in a garden full of life.

Sk: Bol to deň, na ktorý nikdy nezabudne.
En: It was a day he would never forget.
