Sk: Karol sa ponáhľal do nemocnice.
En: Karol was hurrying to the hospital.

Sk: Jeho teta bola hospitalizovaná a on ju chcel povzbudiť pekným darčekom.
En: His aunt had been hospitalized, and he wanted to cheer her up with a nice gift.

Sk: Vonku bol už chladný jesenný deň, listy padali zo stromov.
En: Outside, it was already a chilly autumn day, with leaves falling from the trees.

Sk: Karol stúpal po schodoch, držal sa zábradlia a premýšľal, čo by potešilo jeho tetu.
En: Karol climbed the stairs, held onto the railing, and pondered what would please his aunt.

Sk: V nemocnici bolo rušno, no zároveň pokojne.
En: In the hospital, it was busy yet calm.

Sk: Sestry a lekári chodili hore-dole so starosťami na tvári, ale ich kroky boli usporiadané.
En: Nurses and doctors walked up and down with worries on their faces, but their steps were orderly.

Sk: Karol zamieril do darčekového obchodu.
En: Karol headed to the gift shop.

Sk: Vedel, že potrebuje niečo výnimočné.
En: He knew he needed something special.

Sk: „Dobrý deň,“ pozdravil Karol ženu za pultom.
En: "Good day," greeted Karol to the woman behind the counter.

Sk: Bola to Elena, praktická žena s milým úsmevom, ktorá pracovala v obchode.
En: It was Elena, a practical woman with a kind smile who worked in the store.

Sk: „Hľadám darček pre moju tetu. Je tu v nemocnici,“ vysvetlil.
En: "I am looking for a gift for my aunt. She's here in the hospital," he explained.

Sk: Elena sa naňho pozrela s porozumením.
En: Elena looked at him with understanding.

Sk: „Chápem, je ťažké vybrať niečo správne.
En: "I understand, it's hard to choose something right.

Sk: Aké má vaša teta záujmy?“
En: What are your aunt's interests?"

Sk: Karol si povzdychol.
En: Karol sighed.

Sk: „Má rada čítanie a vždy nosí šály.
En: "She likes reading and always wears scarves.

Sk: Len neviem, čo by ju potešilo teraz.“
En: I just don't know what would cheer her up now."

Sk: Elena sa zamyslela.
En: Elena thought for a moment.

Sk: „Máme tu niekoľko krásnych ručne pletených šálov.
En: "We have a few beautiful hand-knitted scarves here.

Sk: A ak poznáte jej obľúbeného autora, máme aj výber kníh.“
En: And if you know her favorite author, we also have a selection of books."

Sk: Karol sa zamyslel a rozžiarili sa mu oči.
En: Karol thought and his eyes lit up.

Sk: „Áno, má rada knihy od pána Nováka.
En: "Yes, she likes books by Mr. Novák.

Sk: A ten šál... znie to úžasne!“
En: And the scarf... that sounds wonderful!"

Sk: Elena mu podala jemný šál v teplých farbách jesene a ukázala mu rozložené knihy.
En: Elena handed him a soft scarf in the warm colors of autumn and showed him the displayed books.

Sk: Karol okamžite spoznal obal knihy, ktorú jeho teta ešte nečítala.
En: Karol immediately recognized the cover of a book his aunt hadn't read yet.

Sk: Po pár minútach už držal oboje v rukách.
En: After a few minutes, he was holding both in his hands.

Sk: Vedel, že to je presne ono.
En: He knew this was it.

Sk: „Ďakujem vám veľmi pekne, Elena. Pomohli ste mi viac, než viete.“
En: "Thank you very much, Elena. You've helped me more than you know."

Sk: S darčekmi v rukách kráčal Karol chodbami nemocnice až k tetinej izbe.
En: With the gifts in his hands, Karol walked the hospital corridors to his aunt's room.

Sk: Keď jej darčeky podal, jej tvár sa rozžiarila úsmevom.
En: When he handed her the gifts, her face lit up with a smile.

Sk: „Karol, to je skvostné!“
En: "Karol, this is splendid!"

Sk: Karol sa usmial.
En: Karol smiled.

Sk: Vedel, že vybral správne.
En: He knew he had chosen well.

Sk: Jeho rozhodnutie dať si poradiť od Eleny bolo tým najlepším, čo mohol urobiť.
En: His decision to take Elena's advice was the best thing he could have done.

Sk: Ako sa lúčil so svojou tetou, uvedomil si, že dôležité sú malé gestá a osobné dotyky, ktoré dokážu prinesť radosť.
En: As he said goodbye to his aunt, he realized that small gestures and personal touches are important and can bring joy.

Sk: A tak, so srdcom ľahším o starosti, kráčal Karol domov tým jesenným večerom, spokojný zo všetkého, čo sa naučil.
En: And so, with a heart lighter of worries, Karol walked home that autumn evening, content with everything he had learned.
