Chopping Mall: Thank You. Have a Nice Day. — More Movies Please!

Send us Fan Mail

On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are on the run from rampaging killbots who are trying to ruin everyone’s good times. We watched the 1986 film from Jim Wynorski, Chopping Mall.

Let’s run down our schlocky ‘80s movie checklist. Does this film have:

A ridiculous story that won’t hold up under any scrutiny? Check.
Casual racism that’s hardly ever addressed? Check.
An almost obscene amount of gory violence? Check.
Gratuitous boob shots? You’d better believe that’s a check.

Sounds like this is a perfect addition to our collection of B-movies. Listen on to find out if we rank this one brilliant, a flunder, or the dreaded blunder.
