Cs: V jemném letním světle, které proudilo okny psychiatrické oddělení, seděl Jakub na své posteli.
En: In the gentle summer light streaming through the windows of the psychiatric ward, Jakub sat on his bed.
Cs: Tašky pod očima svědčily o bezesných nocích.
En: The bags under his eyes testified to his sleepless nights.
Cs: Pocit úzkosti ho dusil jako neviditelná síť.
En: Anxiety suffocated him like an invisible net.
Cs: Teď, když bylo léto v plném proudu, voněly květiny z nádvoří.
En: Now, with summer in full swing, the flowers from the courtyard smelled fragrant.
En: That faint whiff from the outside world reminded him that there was more than just these white walls.
En: In the early afternoon, the door to his room quietly opened, and Eliska stepped in.
En: She wore a blue summer dress that contrasted with the surroundings.
Cs: „Ahoj, Jakube,“ řekla jemně, její hlas plný naděje.
En: "Hello, Jakube," she said softly, her voice full of hope.
Cs: „Přinesla jsem ti něco.“
En: "I brought you something."
Cs: Vytáhla z kabelky starý fotoalbum.
En: She pulled an old photo album from her handbag.
En: Jakub just nodded, his mind a whirl of doubts.
En: "Let's take a look at it," Eliska continued, sitting down next to him on the bed.
Cs: Otevřela album na stránku, kde byli oba na fotografii z letní dovolené u jezera.
En: She opened the album to a page where they both were in a photograph from a summer vacation by the lake.
Cs: Jakub si pamatoval ten den.
En: Jakub remembered that day.
Cs: Bylo jim sotva deset.
En: They were barely ten.
En: The water was clear, and his worries back then were so small.
En: "Do you remember?" she asked, happily pointing to a picture where little Jakub caught a big fish while Eliska clapped in the water behind him.
En: Jakub smiled for a moment, but the smile quickly faded.
Cs: „Bylo to fajn,“ odpověděl tiše.
En: "It was nice," he replied quietly.
Cs: „Ale teď je všechno jiné.“
En: "But now everything is different."
En: There was bitterness and pain in his voice.
Cs: Ale Eliska se nehodlala vzdát.
En: But Eliska was not willing to give up.
Cs: „Jakube, vím, že cítíš tlak a že to bolí.
En: "Jakube, I know you feel pressure and that it hurts.
Cs: Ale nejsem tu, abych tě soudila.
En: But I'm not here to judge you.
Cs: Jsem tu, protože ti chci pomoci.
En: I'm here because I want to help you.
Cs: Jsem pořád tady, se mnou jsi nikdy nebyl sám,“ řekla Eliska, ruce kolem jeho ramen.
En: I'm always here, you were never alone with me," Eliska said, her arms around his shoulders.
En: Jakub felt his emotions surge to the surface, like a volcano that had long been silently holding back.
Cs: Po tvářích mu stékaly slzy.
En: Tears ran down his cheeks.
Cs: „Elisko, já... občas nevím, jak dál.“
En: "Elisko, I... sometimes I don't know how to go on."
En: "Don't worry, you don't have to do it alone," Eliska responded.
Cs: „Společně to zvládneme.
En: "We will get through this together.
Cs: Vzpomínáš na ten den u jezera?
En: Do you remember that day at the lake?
Cs: Byl jsi můj hrdina.
En: You were my hero.
Cs: I teď věřím, že zvládneš cokoliv.“
En: I still believe you can achieve anything."
En: His sister's words, her unyielding support, and the memories she brought began to break the walls of his protective shell.
En: Jakub realized that his sister's love was genuine and strong.
Cs: Náhle ten sterilní pokoj nebyl tak osamělý.
En: Suddenly, that sterile room was not so lonely.
En: Thanks to Eliska, he realized that the beginning of healing could be in connection, not in solitude.
Cs: Jakub pomalu přikývl, pocítil drobný záblesk naděje uvnitř.
En: Jakub slowly nodded, feeling a small flicker of hope inside.
Cs: Možná, snad, to bude dobré.
En: Maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay.
En: With Eliska by his side, he felt he could tak
