Cs: Ve městě, kde slunce ještě vládne nebi i pozdním létu, stál vysoký mrakodrap.
En: In the city where the sun still rules the sky and the late summer, a tall skyscraper stood.
Cs: Moderní, skleněný a lesknoucí se na slunci.
En: Modern, glass, and gleaming in the sun.
Cs: Uvnitř se nacházelo jedno z nejrušnějších nákupních center ve městě.
En: Inside was one of the busiest shopping centers in the city.
Cs: Lidé zde proudili jako řeka, hledající nové kousky do svého podzimního šatníku.
En: People flowed here like a river, searching for new pieces for their autumn wardrobe.

En: "We're not putting off project problems now," said Lucie.
Cs: "Podívej, tady mají slevu!"
En: "Look, there's a sale here!"

En: her eyes sparkled as she pointed at an elegant store.

En: They went inside.

Cs: "Máš pravdu.
En: "You're right.
Cs: Pojďme to udělat."
En: Let's do it."
Cs: Koupil bundu a cítil, jak se mu z ramen spouští váha nerozhodnosti.
En: He bought the jacket and felt the weight of indecision lift from his shoulders.
Cs: Venku na slunci, s novou bundou pevně v podpaží, si dopřáli velkou kávu na terase s výhledem na město.
En: Outside in the sun, with his new jacket securely under his arm, they enjoyed a large coffee on a terrace overlooking the city.

En: Lucie smiled.
Cs: "Přesně tak," souhlasil Jirka.
En: "Exactly," agreed Jirka.
Cs: "Je to přesně ten kousek pro tuto sezónu, který jsem potřeboval.
En: "It's just the piece I needed for this season.
Cs: A navíc, mám radost, že jsem se rozhodl."
En: And besides, I'm glad I made the decision."
Cs: Jak se slunce sklánělo k západu, Jirka cítil, že jeho rozhodnutí nakupovat věci, které opravdu potřeboval, bylo dobré.
En: As the sun dipped towards the horizon, Jirka felt that his decision to buy things he really needed was a good one.
Cs: Byla to chvíle, kdy pochopil, že někdy se vyplatí přestat váhat a přistoupit na změnu a nové možnosti.
En: It was a moment when he understood that sometimes it's worth stopping hesitating and embracing change and new opportunities.
