Cs: Slunce zářilo skrz velká okna a osvětlovalo umělecké díla, která historii ožívala v každém obraze i soše.
En: The sun shone through the large windows, illuminating the artworks that brought history to life in each painting and sculpture.

Cs: Jakub stál před jedním z obrazů, zamyšlený a plný pochybností.
En: Jakub stood in front of one of the paintings, thoughtful and full of doubt.

Cs: "Nemůžu to udělat.
En: "I can't do it.

Cs: Nemám dost talent," povzdechl si Jakub, mluvil polohlasem, aby ho nikdo neslyšel.
En: I don't have enough talent," sighed Jakub, speaking under his breath so no one would hear.

Cs: Vedle něj stála Tereza, jeho přítelkyně a spolužačka.
En: Beside him stood Tereza, his girlfriend and classmate.

Cs: "Jakube, nevzdávej se.
En: "Jakube, don't give up.

Cs: Víš, že jsi dobrý.
En: You know you're good.

En: You just have to believe in yourself," Tereza smiled and placed an encouraging hand on his shoulder.

Cs: Jejich úkolem bylo vytvořit obraz inspirovaný nějakým dílem z galerie.

En: He thought he would never create anything that would catch his teacher's interest.

En: Tereza spoke again: "Why don't you try to find something that is close to you?

En: With each brushstroke, he felt his fears slowly fading.

En: It was a risk, but he knew he had to do it this way.

Cs: Kritické vyhodnocení začalo.

Cs: Jednotliví studenti postupně ukazovali své práce.
En: The individual students gradually presented their works.

Cs: Jakub stál stranou, nervózní, ale i odhodlaný.
En: Jakub stood aside, nervous but also determined.

En: When his turn came, his heart pounded as if he were at the top of a hill about to descend a steep slope.

Cs: Prezentoval svůj obraz třesoucíma se rukama.
En: He presented his painting with trembling hands.

Cs: Ticho v sále se zdálo nekonečné.
En: The silence in the hall seemed endless.

Cs: Poté Tereza zdvihla svou ruku a promluvila: "Jakubův obraz má hloubku.
En: Then Tereza raised her hand and spoke: "Jakub's painting has depth.

Cs: Vypráví příběh.
En: It tells a story.

Cs: Je to krásné a odvážné."
En: It's beautiful and bold."

Cs: Učitel přišel blíže, pečlivě zkoumal každý detail.
En: The teacher came closer, carefully examining every detail.

Cs: "Tohle je zajímavé dílo, Jakube.
En: "This is an interesting piece, Jakube.

Cs: Vidím zde tvůj osobní styl a odvahu.
En: I see your personal style and courage here.

Cs: To je umění," řekl s úsměvem.
En: This is art," he said with a smile.

Cs: Slova učitele a podpora spolužáků jakoby z něj sejmula tíhu.
En: The teacher's words and the support of his classmates seemed to lift the weight off him.

Cs: Jeho umělecký hlas konečně našel cestu.
En: His artistic voice had finally found its path.

Cs: Tereza ho později objala.
