This episode explores the evolution of magic from its origins as a survival tool for prehistoric shamans to its development into sophisticated systems in Mesopotamia and Egypt. Ancient civilizations viewed these practices as a sacred science essential for maintaining cosmic balance and interacting with the divine through rituals, symbols, and spoken words. However, the text details how Greek, Roman, and Christian influences systematically marginalized and demonized these traditions to consolidate political and religious power. To avoid persecution, practitioners moved this esoteric knowledge underground, preserving it within secret societies and hiding it behind complex allegories. Today, these ancient themes endure through modern media and a growing interest in uncovering the lost spiritual history of humanity.
