After escaping slavery and living among Native American tribes, Reeves became a highly effective lawman, credited with over 3,000 arrests and numerous dramatic gunfights. He was renowned for his mastery of disguise, expert marksmanship, and an unshakeable moral code that led him to arrest his own son. The episode highlights how his professional journey through the Indian Territory mirrored many elements of the iconic masked hero's story. Ultimately, the episode celebrates Reeves as a true American hero whose historical achievements often surpassed the feats of his cinematic counterpart.
