118 - What Makes You Different Can Make a Difference with Jenifer Jennings — Bold Faith Now - Read Deeply. Live Boldly

Have you ever felt like you did not quite fit in?

In this episode of the Bold Faith Now podcast, Missy talks with author Jenifer Jennings about her new children's book, Dotty Makes a Difference, and the beautiful reminder that God creates each one of us on purpose and for a purpose.

Jenifer shares the personal story behind Dotty, a spotted zebra who longs to fit in with the rest of her striped herd. What began as a writing contest entry became a powerful story of faith, friendship, courage, and trusting that God can use what makes us different for His glory.

In this episode, Missy and Jenifer discuss:

Why children and adults often struggle with comparison and the desire to fit in
How parents and grandparents can speak God's truth over children who feel different
Why friendship and community help us walk in courage
How God uses our weaknesses, gifts, and differences to point others back to Him

This conversation is a sweet reminder for kids, parents, grandparents, writers, and believers of all ages that our differences are not mistakes. God can use every part of our story for His purpose.

Remember to live boldly for Jesus and let your light shine bright for Him!
