Story Transcript:

Uk: У лікарні було тихо.
En: The hospital was quiet.

Uk: На стінах сумний колір, а запах антисептика нагадував про біль і страх.
En: The walls had a somber color, and the scent of antiseptic was a reminder of pain and fear.

Uk: Часом здалося, що світ скінчився за цими дверима.
En: At times, it seemed that the world ended beyond these doors.

Uk: Але ось за вікном повільно падали золоті листя.
En: But there, outside the window, golden leaves were slowly falling.

Uk: Осінь нагадувала про себе.
En: Autumn was making itself known.

Uk: У палаті, серед інструментів та вузьких ліжок, сиділи Надія та Максим.
En: In the ward, among the instruments and narrow beds, sat Nadiya and Maksym.

Uk: Вони не відходили від Олександра, який лежав після автокатастрофи.
En: They stayed by Oleksandr, who lay there after a car accident.

Uk: Олександр був їхнім підтримкою, але тепер він потребував допомоги.
En: Oleksandr had been their support, but now he needed help.

Uk: "Сашко, ти тримаєшся?
En: "Sashko, are you holding up?"

Uk: " - запитала Надія, намагаючись посміхнутися, хоча тривога у серці її не покидала.
En: Nadiya asked, trying to smile, even though the anxiety in her heart wouldn't leave her.

Uk: "Я в порядку, Надіє," - відповів Олександр, хоча всередині відчував страх за майбутнє.
En: "I'm fine, Nadiya," replied Oleksandr, even though inside he felt fear for the future.

Uk: Він хотів запевнити свою родину, що все буде добре.
En: He wanted to assure his family that everything would be okay.

Uk: Максим, сидячи біля вікна, тримав голову похилою.
En: Maksym, sitting by the window, kept his head bowed.

Uk: Він відчував провину.
En: He felt guilty.

Uk: Саме він був за кермом, коли трапилася аварія.
En: He had been the one driving when the accident happened.

Uk: "Тату, вибач," - нарешті промовив він з тремтінням у голосі.
En: "Dad, I'm sorry," he finally uttered with a tremble in his voice.

Uk: Очі потонули в сльозах.
En: His eyes welled up with tears.

Uk: "Це все моя вина".
En: "It's all my fault."

Uk: "Сину, ніхто не винен у цьому.
En: "Son, no one is to blame for this.

Uk: Це був випадок," - відповів Олександр, простягнувши руку до Максима.
En: It was an accident," Oleksandr replied, reaching out to Maksym.

Uk: "Ми повинні подолати це разом".
En: "We need to overcome this together."

Uk: Надія дивилася на їх обох.
En: Nadiya looked at both of them.

Uk: Її серце розривалося, але вона знала, що родина разом зможе пройти крізь будь-які труднощі.
En: Her heart was breaking, but she knew that the family together could overcome any difficulties.

Uk: "Давайте будемо сильними," - промовила вона, обіймаючи їх обох.
En: "Let's be strong," she said, embracing them both.

Uk: "Покрова скоро.
En: "Pokrova is soon.

Uk: Це свято надії і захисту.
En: It's the holiday of hope and protection.

Uk: Ми також отримаємо захист".
En: We will also receive protection."

Uk: Листопад продовжував засипати вулиці.
En: November continued to blanket the streets.

Uk: Сім’я сиділа, з'єднана разом силою любові і надії.
En: The family sat, united by the strength of love and hope.

Uk: Вони зрозуміли, що важливіше за все - бути разом.
En: They understood that more important than anything was being together.

Uk: Тепер кожен із них мав нову роль: підтримувати одне одного, жити в мирі.
En: Now each of them had a new role: to support each other, to live in peace.

Uk: І хоча шлях до одужання був довгий, вони знали, що разом подолають все.
En: And although the road to recovery was long, they knew they would overcome everything together.

Uk: Закриті двері палати вже не здавалися таким страшним.
En: The closed ward doors no longer seemed so frightening.

Uk: Вони відкрилися, і крізь них проглядалось світло осіннього сонця.
En: They opened, and through them shone the light of the autumn sun.

Uk: Це було нове початок для сім'ї, і Надія, Олександр і Максим були готові зустріти його з гідністю.
En: This was a new beginning for the family, and Nadiya, Oleksandr, and Maksym were ready to face it with dignity.
