Uk: На площі перед Софійським собором у Києві панувала метушня.
En: In the square in front of the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv, there was a bustle.

Uk: Літо робило своє — сонце освіжало вулиці своїм сяйвом, а квіти розцвітали яскравими барвами.
En: Summer did its work — the sun refreshed the streets with its shine, and flowers blossomed with bright colors.

Uk: Вулиці були наповнені людьми, які святкували День Незалежності України.
En: The streets were filled with people celebrating Ukraine's Independence Day.

Uk: Шум святкових звуків, музики та сміху наповнював повітря.
En: The sound of festive music and laughter filled the air.

Uk: Над собором літали голуби.
En: Pigeons flew over the cathedral.

Uk: Дмитро приїхав до Києва після довгої відсутності.
En: Dmytro arrived in Kyiv after a long absence.

Uk: Він проробляв у іншому європейському місті, де був зосереджений на кар’єрі.
En: He had been working in another European city, focusing on his career.

Uk: Але сьогодні він приїхав не тільки заради роботи.

En: Dmytro told Kateryna about his work, about how often he thought of her.

Uk: І тоді почався їхній важливий діалог.
En: And then their important dialogue began.

Uk: «Катерино, я зрозумів, що не можу бути щасливим без тебе», — сказав він.

Uk: На площі святкування розгорнулись з новими силами.
En: On the square, the celebrations unfolded with new vigor.

Uk: Дмитро і Катерина, тримаючись за руки, дивилися на світло, відбите в золотих куполах — символ надії на їхнє спільне майбутнє.
