Story Transcript:

En: Nikola was standing on the edge of the arctic tundra.

En: The endless whiteness and cold did not encourage him.

En: He didn't like cold places, but his passion for photography had brought him here.

En: A shower of snowflakes gently descended from the sky, and Jovana and Aleksandar, his friends, teased him because of his rough gloves.

En: "Nikola, are you ready for the competition?"

En: asked Jovana, tightening the scarf around her neck.

En: "I'm ready to freeze," Nikola replied with a laugh.

En: He secretly hoped to gain recognition as a photographer, which was his dream.

En: The tundra was vast, icy, and everything around was covered in snow.

En: The sky was clear and transparent, but it did not help the increasing cold.

En: The penguin watching competition had begun, and Nikola was already having problems.

En: His camera kept freezing.

En: He was looking for penguins, but he kept accidentally taking pictures of Jovana and Aleksandar.

En: "If you keep this up, you might declare us penguins!"

En: joked Aleksandar.

En: Frustrated, Nikola decided to use his phone.

En: He had to be careful because the battery drained quickly in such cold.

En: He decided to take the risk.

En: Soon he noticed something dark and unusual on the frozen surface.

En: "That must be a rare species of penguin!"

En: he thought excitedly.

En: He ran to capture that moment with his phone camera.

En: But, when he got closer, he realized it was just a strangely placed gnome from some old garden.

En: Nikola couldn't help but laugh.

En: His friends came to him, and they all laughed.

En: "At least we found a tundra inhabitant, if not a penguin," Jovana said with a smile.

En: Nikola then realized that although he hadn't won the competition, the experience and companionship were far more important.

En: In the end, the three friends returned to the camper, warming up with hot tea and reviewing the comical photos from that icy day.

En: Sometimes, the journey and the experience can bring more satisfaction than the victory itself.
