What if what looks like procrastination is really resistance, and there's a reason underneath it?
On Tuesday I challenged you to name one thing you've been resisting. Today we get to the why. In this episode, I share what I uncovered about my own resistance to getting our house in order. Then we will walk through 4 simple steps to help you uncover what's really going on, so you can finally take action on the thing you know would make your life better.
Procrastination vs. ResistanceSometimes we think we're just putting something off, but there's an underlying reason we don't want to do it. That reason often shows up as doubt, stopping halfway, or thinking we won't finish. The real cause is usually one of three things:
You are not a failure, mama. You may just be missing clarity, a plan, or support. And the thing you're avoiding might be your biggest opportunity. Even if there's fear behind it, remember that you don't know how it will turn out, and what if it turns out better than you imagined?
Join the challenge: Share what you're resisting in the group. Walk through the whys, pinpoint what's missing, shrink it to one step, change the thought, and take a step forward this week. You'll find the link below or on the banner at the top of prioritizewithpurpose.com.
