Xbox Game Pass Price Drop… But There’s a Catch | Level Down Podcast Ep. 144

🎙️ THIS WEEK ON THE LEVEL DOWN PODCAST… 🎙️

Chondel and Devin grab their mics, press record… and immediately forget what they were supposed to talk about. 🤦‍♂️

Join us for another chaotic episode where we attempt to discuss tech, television, and whatever random thoughts sneak into our brains mid-sentence. Somewhere between the rambling, we actually break down the new DC Clayface trailer (yes, we stayed on topic for a whole 3 minutes — a new record).

💸 MAIN EVENT (eventually…): Xbox Game Pass Price Shake-Up

After 45 minutes of side quests, snack debates, and “wait what were we saying?”, we finally get into the big news:

• Game Pass Ultimate drops to $22.99/month (your wallet can breathe again)

• PC Game Pass drops to $13.99/month

• Prices may vary depending on where you live (because of course they do)

🎮 BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE DRAMA:

• New Call of Duty games are NOT coming to Game Pass at launch anymore 😬

• You’ll have to wait about a year (holiday season drop) like it’s a DLC for patience

• Current COD titles? Still there. No need to panic uninstall.

🎁 GAME PASS PERKS = FREE STUFF ALERT

We also dive into all the goodies being thrown at subscribers:

• Free content for Sea of Thieves, Minecraft, PUBG, and more

• Warzone packs, Albion Online rewards, and even a FREE comic (yes, really)

• Some perks are Ultimate-only… because exclusivity is alive and well

🤔 Expect hot takes, cold takes, and takes that make absolutely no sense.

If you like podcasts that stay laser-focused and highly professional… this ain’t that.

But if you enjoy laughs, chaos, and two guys trying their best (and failing gloriously), you’re in the right place.

Would you wait a year for Call of Duty on Game Pass, or is that a dealbreaker?
