Who might God be calling us to notice? In Nehemiah 5:1–13, the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls is interrupted by the cries of families facing poverty, debt, and injustice. Nehemiah does not ignore their suffering. He listens and calls the community to respond with integrity and compassion. This Sunday, Rev. Dr. Paul Cunningham continues our Nehemiah series with “Look Around,” inviting us to see those in need and consider how God may be calling us to act. Join us as we discover what it means to reflect God’s heart through generosity, justice, and care for others.
Sermon Questions:
1. Is there someone I could come alongside this week and help move toward a greater sense of shalom or wholeness?
2. Is there a system or structure around me that needs to change so someone is not overlooked or left behind?
