Bold Claim: We can make Christianity into what we want it to be.

Many people throughout the Bible have made their relationship with God into what the wanted it to be. From the time of Cain and Abel, to the time of the Pharisees, people have hijacked what God intended. This may be true even of us. And one thing you recognize is that God hates when we make something he has intended Holy into something not Holy.

How do we guardrail against this? How do we help ourselves so we don't fall victim about making Christianity into what we want?
