104 | Living in Denmark with Ilana Buhl, @lykke_charm: Integration, Identity, and Everyday Life

Love, visas, identity, motherhood, burnout, Denmark. Ilana Buhl didn’t just move for love—she rebuilt her life from scratch. In this candid conversation with cohosts Derek and Brooke, Ilana shares how a three-day trip turned into a lifetime abroad. From navigating Denmark’s tough family reunification process to finding her footing as a teacher, parent, and online creator. Along the way, they unpack culture shocks, language learning, and why stepping back from social media can be the right thing to do sometimes.
