Ep. 141: Boston is Back! (Previewing the Inaugural Season of Boston Legacy: Amanda Guiterres, White/Gillette Stadium, Dome Guasch + Filipa Patão's Influence On The Squad, + More) — The Women’s Soccer Podcast

In this episode, LDG reviews the current roster of Boston Legacy FC as they build a squad from scratch, which must compete with some of the best women's soccer teams in the world in just a few months.

He breaks down their roster (yay), stadium situation (nay), and branding (okay) + so much more, covering the process of building an expansion team roster in 2025. He touches upon the player advisory board, which includes icons like Sam Mewis, Kristine Lilly, Aliyah Boston, and others, while detailing the European-centric style of play that Dome Guasch and Filipa Patão will bring from Barcelona and Benfica, respectively.

This is a must-listen episode if you want to have an idea of how Boston's skeleton of a roster will look next season and what style LDG thinks that they will play in the 2026 NWSL season. He also analyzes every single line of the Legacy side in depth with analytics to provide an idea of what the side will look like on opening day!
