BACKUP ALERT: Jets Face URGENT Need to Find Veteran QB2 Over Cade Klubnik Behind After Cuts

With only Geno Smith and rookie Cade Klubnik making the initial 53-man roster, questions swirl: Can Smith lead the offense, or will Klubnik be forced into action before he's ready? John B. highlights the risks of rushing a developmental QB and evaluates the team's decision to part ways with Bailey Zappe and Brady Cook after lackluster preseason performances.

Jets management seeks upgrades on the offensive line, acquiring Jordan Meredith in a low-cost trade to bolster protection behind Josh Myers and Joe Tippmann. John B. critiques surprising roster decisions, including the retention of Tim Patrick and Arian Smith at wide receiver and ongoing uncertainty at kicker with Jason Sanders' shaky preseason. As roster depth lags behind division rivals, can the Jets capitalize on their high waiver priority to find solutions before the regular season kicks off?
