October 4th is the anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street on London's East End. In 1936, one hundred thousand people, Jewish immigrants and their working class allies fought the fascists and the police, successfully blocking them from marching through their neighborhood. This became a turning point in the fight against British fascism. Harry Richardson has the story.
