Pete said this year has had “the largest number of food safety recalls in our nation's history.” The largest was for non-fat dry milk from California Dairies Inc. (CDI) with over 100 companies affected. The FDA filed a warning letter with 3 findings, saying “CDI’s limited removal [recall] was insufficient to protect public health”.
