Trump Tax Proposal Could Put Black Scholarships at Risk

The Trump administration is proposing an IRS rule that could affect race-based scholarships, financial aid, admissions and other programs at private schools and colleges. Private HBCUs would not lose tax-exempt status simply for serving predominantly Black students, but race-based eligibility programs could face scrutiny.
