Colleges Cut Back Black Studies Programs Nationwide

At least 12 colleges have scaled back Black, African or African American studies programs since President Donald Trump signed an executive order targeting diversity programs. Schools cite a mix of low enrollment, budget pressures, state laws and reduced funding, while supporters say politics is also driving the cuts.
