The Alchimist Of Pears

THE ALCHEMIST OF THE PEARS

He lives behind the orchard
where the yellow shadows grow,
turning sunlight into silver
in a room nobody knows.

He cuts a golden pear in two —
a little star appears.
“Nothing ever disappears,
it only changes years.”

The Alchemist of the Pears,
melting sugar into years,
one bite and the walls begin to sway,
one more — and you fade away.

Clocks are sleeping on the table,
purple smoke is in the air.
Seven planets spin in circles
inside a single pear.

The Alchemist of the Pears,
still is working through the years.
Don’t ask him what it means…

Just taste it.
