THE BRONZE AGE
[Intro – whispered] Before the iron, before the written law, we raised our towers to speak with the stars.
[Verse I] Copper from the mountains, tin across the sea, fire inside the furnace gave the gods their key.
Sails beneath Orion, cities made of stone, kings beneath the lion gate dreaming on their thrones.
[Chorus] We were born in the Bronze Age, under a blood-red sun, building roads to forever before the world was one.
We were kings of the Bronze Age, children of flame and sky, writing our names into clay so we would never die.
[Instrumental – organ / guitar]
[Verse II] Knossos in the morning, Mycenae after rain, horses crossing Anatolia, chariots on the plain.
Merchants carried amber, soldiers carried scars, priests climbed up the temple stairs to bargain with the stars.
[Bridge – darker] Then something moved beyond the sea, something whispered through the land. Palaces burned without a name, crowns disappeared beneath the sand.
No one knew the final hour, no one heard the closing door— only smoke above the harbour, only footsteps on the shore.
[Instrumental – long psychedelic section]
[Final Chorus] We were born in the Bronze Age, under a dying sun, raising walls against the darkness when the end had already begun.
We were ghosts of the Bronze Age, lost between earth and sky, leaving our words inside the clay for another world to find.
[Outro – slow, suspended] Bronze becomes dust. Kings become names. Cities become shadows.
But somewhere beneath the silent earth the old fire still remains.
